Wednesday, May 22nd
ProBox TV, 8pm ET, Batyrzhan Dzukembayev vs. Ivan Redkach.
It's a ProBox show, but on paper it's not particularly appealing. Redkac hasn't had a notable performance since his disastrous performance against Danny Garcia and Regis Prograis in 2020-21, and his last fight since was against the club's veteran in Costa Rica last July. He only won once. Yukenbayev has won four straight since getting stopped by Svriel Matias in 2021, which is clearly nothing to be ashamed of. Matthias stops everyone.
Thursday, May 23rd
Jermaine Franklin vs. Devin Vargas, DAZN, 7 p.m. ET.
When DAZN promised him 150 fights a year, he must have really hoped that one of those fights would be a Devin Vargas main event in 2024.
Friday, May 24th
Peacocks, 2 p.m. ET, Łukasz Rozanski vs. Lawrence Okolie.
BLH will be broadcast live. Bridger weight! Bridger weight! Bridger weight! Bridger weight! Rozanski has home advantage in Poland because no one in Britain wants to pay to see Okolie fight. If you've seen Okolie fight 20 times as a pro at this point, and we all have, that's only fair. That's not fun. It will also be broadcast on Sky Sports in the UK.
Saturday, May 25th
DAZN, Noon ET, Bader Al Dalat vs. Orlando Mosquera
Show from Abu Dhabi. This is another of the 150 game nights a year promised with your DAZN subscription. This deal is starting to get a little shady, isn't it?
ESPN+, 2pm ET, Josh Taylor vs. Jack Catterall 2
BLH will be broadcast live. Despite being promoted by Matchroom, this is a show on ESPN+ in America due to Taylor's Top Rank affiliation. The main event has a history and some promotional efforts, but you can't help but wonder if it's too late for what it should be.Then again, the first fight wasn't like that good, it was just controversial. Chevon Clarke will take on Ellis Zorro for the British cruiserweight title, while Gary Currie and Paddy Donovan will take on Francesco Patera and Lewis Ritson respectively.
DAZN, 7pm ET, Elle Brook vs. Paige VanZant.
Misfits show from Houston. This will be VanZant's official boxing debut after flameouts in both the UFC and BKFC. It's a five-round main event with Brook's title at stake, but who cares about the details? That is, everyone reading this right now.
