Luka Doncic is one of the most offensive NBA players in basketball history. He is also one of the biggest complainers in NBA history. One former NBA All-Star gave a reality check to all of Luka's complaints about officiating.
On the latest episode of “Gills Arena,” Gilbert Arenas went on a NSFW rant about Doncic complaining to the referee.
“The problem with Luka is that he's technically worthless, he's just complaining,” Arenas said. “You're saying all the things that aren't good enough to understand the technicalities, but you're whining to the point where it affects the offensive and defensive sides. You walk on both sides of it. There is. That's the problem.”
While Arenas has been ranting about Doncic, he also plans to offer some advice to the young superstar. The former Grizzlies guard revealed lessons he learned from Mike Conley that could help Doncic.
“You're Luca. They can't make all the calls for you, but they're going to make the calls you need to keep being you. They're not going to change your calls.” Conley had to tell me that. Once they decide, they are not going to change it. ”
Even though Luka Doncic has struggled and complained in these NBA playoffs, the Dallas Mavericks still lead the series against the Oklahoma City Thunder 3-2 and are tied for the Western Conference lead.
