The conference semifinals of the NBA playoffs begin. One team has advanced, but there's still a lot at stake in other matchups.
The top-seeded Boston Celtics are aiming to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals by defeating the fourth-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers in five games. They are currently awaiting the winner of the other East series between the second-seeded New York Knicks and sixth-seeded Indiana Pacers.
In the West, the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder will face the fifth-seeded Dallas Mavericks. In the West's other matchup, the second-seeded and defending NBA Finals champion Denver Nuggets will take on the third-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves.
Each team must win seven consecutive games to advance. All four rounds of the NBA Playoffs are best-of-seven, and teams are not reseeded after each round. The team with the best regular season record in each series will receive home court advantage for that series. All series are played in his 2-2-1-1-1 format, with the better-performing team receiving games 1, 2, 5, and 7 (as appropriate). It will be held.
Complete coverage from the NBA Playoffs to the 2024 NBA Finals. The final will be broadcast on ABC and the ESPN app on June 6th.
