Preparations are complete for the University of Southern Idaho's first football staff.
CSI has named Andrew Zaleski as associate head coach of men's and women's soccer, the school announced Wednesday.
Zaleski, who most recently coached at Florida, will assist head coach Alex Ferreira. The staff also includes goalie coach Alex Maia.
Alex Ferreira, the first head football coach at the University of Southern Idaho, plans to prioritize recruiting players from the state of Idaho.
“We are excited to welcome Coach Andrew to the CSI technical staff,” Ferreira said in a press release. “His skill set completes the staff we currently have in our football program. He has experience at overseas universities in the United States and the United Kingdom, which will improve the experience of the players in our program. It will increase further.”
Zaleski served as the Campus Director and Director of Goalkeeping for the Florida Celtic Soccer Club for the past four years. He spent two seasons as a men's and women's assistant at NCAA Division II Florida Southern College.

“I would like to thank (Athletic Director) Joel (Bate), Coach Alex and the recruiting committee for giving me the opportunity to come to Twin Falls,” Zaleski said in a press release. “I'm really excited to be here in Idaho and help grow interest in soccer in this region. I look forward to building a highly competitive soccer program that meets the high standards of other sports here at CSI. I am doing my best.”
