“Every game gets harder as we go into the playoffs and there aren't any bad teams left so it's going to be very exciting and I think we all know what's going to happen. It's going to take a lot of hard work and a lot of It's going to be a great effort,” goaltender Brady James said.
These final games for all the marbles conclude a marathon junior hockey season that began in September, and the team is ready to finish this journey in style.
“It's been a very long journey. That's certainly what junior hockey is like. The hustle and bustle around the room is incredible, knowing that you're only three games away, and the players are there. I'm really excited to get here and go. We're a great four-team team. We're not going to slouch on this, we're going to take every game seriously, and we're really going to do that. I think he’s doing his job,” defenseman Weston Knox said.
“We're going to have to fight a lot. We're going to need our whole lineup to play their best hockey in a while. We just have to keep doing what we do and stick to it.” “Because I think the way we play is built for playoff hockey and teams with depth,” Marler said.
