The forward from Manteca, Calif., was named first team All-West and first team All-WCC as a sophomore last season and started 18 games for the Bulldogs. Riley leads the team with 12 goals and 30 points on the year and set career highs last season with 55 shots, 30 shots on target and six assists. Riley shot an impressive 54.5% from the field all season. Last season, Riley scored his first collegiate hat trick against Pepperdine and helped the Bulldogs win their first WCC championship. Riley also recorded his three multi-goal games and helped the Bulldogs advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
As a freshman in 2022, Riley was named to the WCC All-Freshman Team after starting 13 games and playing in all 18 games, recording five points and four assists.
Riley was also a mainstay on the U.S. U-20 Youth National Team, participating in all 2024 training camps, including trips to Colombia and Germany. Like five of his future Nole teammates, Riley is seeking a spot on the 2024 U.S. U-20 World Cup team.
Riley attended John C. Kimball High School, where he was named varsity defensive player of the year as a freshman and varsity captain as a sophomore and junior. Riley was also named a Scholar-Athlete as a freshman, sophomore, and junior. Outside of football, Riley ran track and field and also played basketball, which he participated in for three years.
