I know this is a 4 minute video and I think it's very interesting if you have the means to listen to it, but if you don't, here's a summary:
– LeBron is always on time.LeBron intentionally entered last night's Cavs game in the first timeout so the entire crowd could see him play, not just the TV cameras.
– All of the NBA executives and multiple general managers around the league saw the entrance, and one or more of them texted Brian Windhorst saying, “Why did that happen now?”meme
– Windy immediately remembered the last time LeBron came to see a Cavs game. He was attending Zydrunas Ilgauskas' jersey ceremony as a player for the Miami Heat.Just a few months later he signed with Cleveland.
– Windy was told that LeBron and the beautiful Ms. Savannah were visiting Akron for Mother's Day, only staying an extra day for the Cavs game…they knew damn well it would blow up. Despite that

– LeBron rolled out the red carpet for Dan Gilbert last night as his personal guest.
– Rich Paul called the Lakers ahead of time and explained the situation.
That's it! And this morning, I saw all the LeBron fans on the internet fully defending the actions of the self-proclaimed king, claiming he loved basketball and wanted to see a good game of basketball. Wrong, wrong, wrong. You guys just adopted LeBron James, I grew up with him. This is the meanest but most calculating man on earth. Don't get me wrong. Sometimes his calculations can result in banal and stupid decisions…but he plans them all out. He was no different when he went to the Cavs game last night.
I think this can be summarized for the following three reasons.
1. Make the whole world pay attention to him when his basketball team has already lost. LeBron James never misses an opportunity to be the center of attention, and when this opportunity arose, he decided it was the best idea and all his yes-men agreed with him. He specifically waited until the first timeout to get into the game. He gave the Cavs an early warning. They made a video welcoming him. His team couldn't get him past the first round this year, so it was all me, me, me.
2. Sends a message back to the Lakers that he can leave if he wants. Let me be clear: I don't think he wants to do that, and I don't think he's going to do that. But while everyone is reporting the same thing, they can't let the Lakers be satisfied that he's just returning to a team that lost in the first round. He said that when he goes shopping or attends a Cleveland Cavaliers game, he seeks opinions on the head coach (though he says he doesn't) and the good players around him. It was a direct message to the Lakers.
3. To remind the world that drafting Bronny could eventually lead to LeBron Sr. joining your franchise. Bronny is at the combine now. The draft is scheduled for this summer. And people are saying just because you drafted Bronny doesn't mean LeBron is going to drop everything and come to your franchise now, but you can bet they'll play together someday . Will the Lakers end up acquiring him? perhaps. Will the Cavaliers end up acquiring him? perhaps. Or will a team like the Pistons go out of their way to grab him, hoping to win the jersey sales lottery if he and his father end up playing together? I don't know the answer, but attending the Cavs game taught the world that he has more options than just returning to the Lakers and that the Lakers should do whatever they can (like draft Bronny). It is certain that it was shown in
Mr. Windhorst probably told executives the whole story about Mother's Day, but we know the truth. Look at me, every franchise that thinks they have a chance with me should gut their own future trying to get me there. The story of LeBron James.
