The West Central Valley boys soccer team has just been notified of its placement in Class 1A postseason soccer activities. According to the IHSAA website, “The first round of postseason games are scheduled for Monday, May 13th (2A and 1A) and Tuesday, May 14th (4A and 3A). Games will be played on Monday, May 20th, with the semi-state finals scheduled for Wednesday, May 22nd. Eight teams from each category are currently playing on May 29th, May 31st, and May 31st. advance to the 2024 IHSAA state soccer tournament scheduled for June 1 in Des Moines.
The Wildcat Boys are fourth in Substate 8 and will play PCM on the 13th at Des Moines Christian. The winner of this game will play the No. 1 Traynor Cardinals on Monday, May 20th.
