Can you keep up with this kickboxer?Martial arts champion prepares for three events this summer

The young champion kickboxer is preparing to compete in three separate combat events this summer.

Shane Allison, from Ballybritas, Laois, attends St Paul's Secondary School in Monastrebin. He continues to have success in martial arts.

When I just turned 18, Shane Together with the Taekwondo national team, I participated in the ITF Taekwondo European Championships held in Lublin, Poland from April 16th to April 21st last year.

Currently, Shane has three upcoming events scheduled as a martial artist in addition to preparing for his Leaving Certificate exam.

Shane It's on the fight card for the Elite Kickboxing Show in ClontarfAfter this month.

Then in July, Shane He will be heading to Liverpool's martial arts league for the world title.

Finally, in August, Shane He will be participating as part of the national team at the WAKO World Championships in Budapest, where he will compete in two sections: light contact and kick right.

Shane juggles a very tight schedule between schoolwork and training, and over the past year his schedule has really been pushed to its limits.

Taekwondo European Championship – Romania April 2023

• 75kg Individual Sparring ITF European Champion
• He played against the Netherlands, Sweden, Croatia, Norway and Romania

Taekwondo World Championship – Finland September 2023

• 75kg individual sparring ITF world champion
• They played against England, Finland, Scotland, Argentina, Australia and Romania.

November 2023

• -75kg class sparring national champion at ITA Taekwondo Irish Open
• Shane He also won Junior Male Competitor of the Year at the 1st ITA Gala Awards Night.

December 2023 – Liverpool

• Shane It was his first full contact match in the ring.
• After fighting through five grueling rounds, he was crowned the -75kg WMO International Champion with a unanimous decision.

February 2023

• ITA Taekwondo Man Star Open -75kg class sparring national champion, special move national champion

March 2024

• KBI Kickboxing All-Ireland Championship – 75kg national champion, wins both light kick and light contact
• Shane have been invited to attend the inaugural Martial Arts Combat League event in Stoke-on-Trent over St Patrick's weekend.
• He won by TKO three times and was announced as the -75kg sparring champion in his own event. round.
