EdTech Connect, a search engine for technology tools used in higher education, recently introduced new features powered by artificial intelligence to help technology decision makers make smarter purchases.
The platform catalogs data about the products and services of more than 950 edtech companies, including user reviews, features and usage agencies, according to a news release last month. The search feature also features an interactive map and searchable database to find institutions that meet specific criteria, such as student population size and institution type, and provides users with information about the technology infrastructure of universities across the United States. It is intended to provide an up-to-date snapshot of your structure.
Jeff Dillon, founder of EdTech Connect, says this information will help educators, IT managers, and administrators make data-driven decisions when implementing digital learning and edtech tools.
“By introducing this AI-powered search capability, we are not only connecting higher education professionals with data; we are helping them predict trends, drive strategic decisions, and ultimately We are helping to improve the educational experience,” Dillon said in an official statement. “This tool is a major step in our commitment to innovation and technology advancement in higher education.”
