Here are some thoughts on Langone and Yas' “Welcome to Wrexham.”
langon: “I think most people love this show, and it shows what it stands for.” What is soccer like overseas, what is soccer like and how much does it mean to a club in a small, small town? The city revolves around the soccer team and they rally around the soccer team. And they're very committed to it. ”
Yas: “I think they thought we were going to continue the journey with them, whether or not they succeeded in the end. But it was full of twists and turns that only real life can provide.” It's just a story, unless we're talking about something like “Ted Lasso” because we love that show too, but it's made up and it's fiction. But it's amazing how watching it in Wrexham feels like Ted's Lasso has come to life. ”
