We'll start our roundup with news related to Ronda Rousey and Joe Rogan. The focus then shifts to Dana White's promise to pay Diego Lopez's fine at UFC 300. Former UFC commentator accuses Ronda Rousey of victim mentality towards Joe Rogan
Ronda Rousey is one of the greatest women's fighters to ever grace the Octagon. However, even though she is the greatest person, she faced defeat and had to leave for a better place. Back in 2015 and 2016, Rousey suffered back-to-back losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes, which seemed to destroy her will to fight. Almost 10 years later, Rousey came forward and said: She was removed by Joe Rogan and UFC management due to her loss.

Former UFC and Bellator commentator Jimmy Smith didn't take her words lightly. She was having a conversation on SiriusXM. Smith did not hesitate to call out the former champion's hypocrisy as he said, “One of the things that is always said about God is, 'God gets all the credit and takes no blame.' That's what Ronda Rousey wants. She gets all the credit.” “I want to take credit for all my wins. My losses were CTE, this, and that. He's the best person, but when things don't work out, that's it, and it's never been me.”

Smith's statement was later shared on Instagram, and when a fan asked why Ronda Rousey would do this after nearly 10 years, Smith replied: “Book a tour”” Without filtering his views, Smith indirectly accused the former champion of making controversial statements to promote her book, “Our Fight.”
While one former champion is criticizing people for not giving him enough support, another UFC star, Diego Lopez, is receiving support from Dana White.
Dana White rescues Diego Lopez
Diego Lopez has had a great run in the UFC, and his last fight was just one of the jewels in his crown. Lopez faced Sodiq Yousaf at UFC 300. The fight started with Lopez dominating Yousaf, with the Brazilian knocking him out in the first round with a powerful punch to the head. Lopez was excited about his win and when he saw Dana White in the stands, he asked the UFC president if he could come see him.White allowed him and Lopez jumped out of the cage and headed toward White and Mark Zuckerberg.
The act caused an uproar in the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which voted to withhold 5 percent ($5,000) of the $100,000 purse from Lopez, who jumps over the cage to celebrate his victory. But Dana White reportedly promised the Brazilian fighter that he would cover her fine.
Executive Director Jeff Mullen said Dana White will pay Diego Lopez's fine because he was the one who allowed him to come to the celebration. Well, White's generosity may serve him well in the future, but for now let's move on to the champion-champion beef.
