Ronda Rousey's recent comments didn't amuse Jimmy Smith.
Rousey, 37, has recently returned to the public eye, but if you ask the community, her return is anything but flattering. A full 10 years after Rousey suffered the first loss of her career, taking a head kick to Holly Holm in the second round, the inaugural UFC women's champion cited concussion as the main reason for her fall from an undefeated streak. .
One match later, Rousey defeated Amanda Nunes by KO in 48 seconds, which led to her retirement and the start of her career as a professional wrestler in WWE. Former UFC commentator Jimmy Smith echoed that sentiment, but was unimpressed with the sentiments expressed by “The Rowdy” recently.
“One of the things I always say about God is that He gets all the credit and none of the blame. That's what Ronda Rousey wants.” Mr. Smith said. unlock the cage. “Everything is credit, no blame. I want my wins, losses, CTE, and everything else to be credited to me. I'm the greatest to ever do it. But when it didn't work out, that was it, and it never was for me. She never gives credit to the people who actually hit her because she had concussion issues. The idea that I left MMA and went to WWE doesn't make sense.”
Smith, 46, has been more outspoken throughout the community before parting ways with both the UFC and WWE. The former voice of Bellator couldn't help but balk at his behind-the-scenes comments about Rousey, which others have never been comfortable with.
Despite rumors circulating ahead of UFC 300, Rousey has confirmed that she will not be returning to any more MMA competition at this time.
“We don't talk much outside of school,” Smith said. “I don't talk about things behind the scenes. Let me tell you something. Rhonda, if you're listening, the people behind the scenes, the cameramen, the audio people, the people who get pushed around, the people who get bullied, You guys can't stand your shit. Everyone backstage who had to hold the mic to Ronda Rousey couldn't stand her. said. They said, “From the moment she sat down to the moment she stood up, she was terrible towards us.” It's our fault she had to do this interview to promote something or her next match, she's just miserable and she's mean to us and we're not her fault. I can't stand it.
“When she got knocked out, they were cheering. They said, 'You can be mean and rude to people like that, and you can't fight back.' People couldn't stand Ronda Rousey. So don't sit here and tell me you're the victim, while the poor guy behind the camera is doing his job. Are you being teased or are you being mean to the person when we are showing off your fights? Don't give me this victim shit. please do not.”

There are no words…
What is the purpose of life if what we are desperately trying to run away from is what ultimately hurts us the most?
Why is life so unfair and unforgiving?
Why does life always get us what we don't have?I'm fucking tired— Francis Ngannou (@francis_ngannou) April 29, 2024
It's been a tough few days. Words cannot express the pain we all feel for the Ngannou family during this time. Please keep Francis and his family in your thoughts and may this remind you of the fragility of life. Say “I love you” more often, tomorrow is not guaranteed. ❤️ https://t.co/V6QVzbXKVi
