RALEIGH, N.C. (April 30, 2023) – Wake Tech students received 10 awards at the North Carolina Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) College State Leadership Conference held this month in Greensboro.
FBLA Collegiate (formerly Phi Beta Lambda) is the world's largest business career and technical student organization.
Wake Tech students demonstrated their leadership skills at competitive events with universities across North Carolina and won the following awards:

Students will compete at the FBLA Collegiate National Leadership Conference June 24-27 in Orlando, Florida.
In addition, Jamison, who will complete her role as Vice President of Marketing in 2023-2024, was named to North Carolina FBLA University's Who's Who, becoming one of only four students to earn this honor.
The Wake Tech chapter has 50 members, the second largest membership in the state, and was recognized for increasing membership since last year. He also received the Gold Star Award, Legacy Leadership Award, and was one of his four chapters to receive the Gold Seal for outstanding participation in FBLA Collegiate programs, activities, meetings, and goals. .
Guest speaker Michelle Parrish, Wake Tech's FBLA advisor, was reappointed as North Carolina's communications director. She also served on the State Awards Program Committee, which oversees the state conference's competitive events. She was recognized for her 20 years of work as an FBLA advisor.
