Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul is one of the most memorable fights.
MMA Fighting's Mike Heck has confirmed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation that the Tyson vs. Paul boxing match scheduled for July 20th will be certified as a professional bout and the result will be recorded. The game will be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Tyson (50-6, No. 2 in North Carolina) will be in his 59th professional fight, and Paul (9-1) will be in his 10th professional fight.
Paul, a social media influencer and YouTube star, said from the beginning that his fight with 57-year-old Tyson would be a sanctioned fight. On Monday, he posted on Instagram to confirm the news.
“I wasn't kidding when I said this was going to be a real battle,” Paul wrote. “See you in July.”
Matches are played over eight two-minute rounds, and competitors wear 14-ounce gloves.
Tyson appears to be taking his training for the fight seriously, releasing several videos showing off his preparation for his first professional fight since June 2005. Tyson has appeared in two exhibition matches since his retirement. , most recently faced fellow legend Roy Jones Jr. in a split draw in November 2020.
In his prime, Tyson was the most feared knockout artist of his generation. “Iron Mike” had a total of 44 knockouts and held multiple heavyweight titles from 1986 to 1996.
Paul is currently on a three-fight winning streak after losing his only fight to Tommy Fury. He has notable wins over former UFC stars Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, and Tyron Woodley.
In the co-main event on July 20th, Amanda Serrano takes on Katie Taylor in a rematch of their epic April 2022 matchup, which Taylor won by split decision. This time, Taylor's undisputed super lightweight title is on the line.
Tickets for Paul vs. Tyson are scheduled to go on sale May 16th. This event will be broadcast live on Netflix.
