The Milwaukee Bucks, riddled with injuries, lost Game 4 126-113, losing 3-1 to the Indiana Pacers.
Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo missed the entire series with a calf strain, and Damian Lillard also missed Game 4 after aggravating his Achilles injury on Friday.
To make matters worse, Bobby Portis was ejected in the first quarter after a scuffle with Andrew Nembhard.
Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez did their best to keep Milwaukee in the game, with Middleton adding 25 points and Lopez 27, but the Pacers' shooting was too much for the Bucks. Indiana finished the game with an impressive 51.2 percent on 22 3-pointers.
After the loss, fans lamented the Bucks' bad luck with injuries.
The Bucks are a team capable of making the NBA Finals when fully healthy, but it's hard to imagine they'll be able to overcome a 3-1 deficit if Antetokounmpo and Lillard can't get back on the floor.
Before Sunday's game, head coach Doc Rivers said the team was “optimistic” that Antetokounmpo could return for the series, and while Lillard wasn't locked down, the team's return likely would be delayed until Milwaukee's next game. He said it was all about survival.
The Bucks and Pacers will meet in Game 5 on Tuesday, a game that could end Milwaukee's season in the first round for the second straight year.
