INDIANAPOLIS – Milwaukee forward Bobby Portis got into a scuffle with Indiana guard Andrew Nembhard to start Game 4, with the Bucks already without their two leading scorers for Sunday night's game against the Pacers. He was sent off early.
Portis received two technical fouls for what officials called two hostile acts with 5:01 left in the first quarter after a tangled play with Nembhardt as he tried to get into position for a rebound.
After Nembhardt pushed Portis' arm away, Portis pushed him back and made contact with Nembhardt's head.
It was Portis' first career ejection in a playoff game. He played seven minutes and scored four points on 2-of-4 shooting.
The Bucks were going to rely more on Portis since Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) and Damian Lillard (Achilles injury) will be out Sunday.
This will be the 13th time a team will play a playoff game without its top two scorers from the regular season, according to ESPN Stats. The team's record so far is 0 wins and 12 losses.
The Pacers lead the best-of-seven series 2-1.
