Garsper posted a personal best 25.53 in the 50 free and made another cut at the trials, shaving tenths of a second off her previous best (25.84 in February) and below her standard of 25.69. She also posted times of 56.32 in the 100 free and 1:01.24 in the fly, not far off her lifetime bests of 56.14 and 1:00.68 set in February. During the last Olympic cycle, she earned trial cuts in the 100 back and 100 free. Garsper will head to the University of Virginia, where she is a four-time national champion, this fall.
Erica Pelaez In the 200 free time, he set a career-best 2:01.05, coming within a tenth of a second of the trial time cut (2:00.89). The 17-year-old Eagle Aquatics shaved a few tenths off his personal best of 2:01.28 from last July. Pelaez also scored a 54.97 in the 100 free, coming within half a second of her 2022 personal best of 54.65. She was close to the 54.94 she scored at the World Junior Championships last September, when she placed fourth and was well below her trial cut (55.79).
Pelaez missed the best 50 in the free by 0.5 seconds with a time of 25.79. The North Carolina State University commit ('24) is running a 25.29 in 2022 and earned a trial cut in the 50 free last summer. She also posted a 100 back time of 1:02.11, which was several seconds slower than her personal best of 59.94 seconds, which won her the bronze medal at the world juniors. Pelaez collected her first trial cut when she was just 13 years old.

Bozzuto set two more lifetime bests in the 100m chest (1:11.31) and 200m chest (2:42.29), the former just one second away from the trials record of 1:10.29.
Bozuto's FAST teammate, 17 years old Emma Herrera, set a new lifetime best in the 200 free with a time of 2:03.47. She shaved almost a second off her previous best record of 2:04.24, set last July. Herrera was within a second of her best 400 free time at 4:24.71 and within four seconds of her best 400 IM time at 4:04.71.
Eagle Aquatics 18 years old on the boys side monster winkler I was impressed with my wins in the 100 free (49.83) and 200 free (1:51.69). The North Carolina State University commit ('24) was fast in the 100 free at 48.81 and in the 200 at 1:49.02, both since last March.
Shelton Doral Swim Team 16 Years George Gonzalez I had a great weekend setting new career bests in the 50 free (23.52), 100 free (50.85), and 200 free (1:52.44). His biggest improvement came in the 100 free, where he improved 0.12 seconds on the 50, 0.66 seconds on the 100, and 0.05 seconds on the 200. Gonzalez is currently within one second of the cut at the trials in the 100 free (49.99 seconds). .
Eagle Aquatics 16 years old Anthony Pineiro He set three career bests in the 50 back (27.30), 200 back (2:04.94) and 50 fly (26.51). He dropped a few tenths of a second in the 200 from his previous best of 2:05.30 set last July, but was still more than four seconds off his trial record of 2:01.69. Pineiro also hit his 100 fly in 56.34, which was only about a tenth of his personal best of 56.22 from earlier this month.
Jamal Bruno, the 19-year-old from Azura Florida Aquatics from Puerto Rico, had a solid performance in the freestyle distance. He ran the 1500m free under 16 minutes for the first time in 15:58.86, shaving nearly three seconds off his personal best mark from earlier this month (16:01.83). Bruno also ran a 4:06.37 in the 400 free and 8:22.68 in the 800, not far off his personal bests from earlier this month (4:03.80/8:21.05).
