In the 2024 NFL Draft, prominent former Georgia football players Brock Bowers and Amarius Mims will be selected on the first day, while Ladd McConkie, Kamari Lassiter, Adonai Mitchell, Javon Bullard and Tykee Smith will be selected on the second day. Even after being drafted, Georgia still had plenty of players. Looking ahead to the third and final day of the NFL Draft, we're still looking ahead.
Here are all the Bulldogs selected on Day 3 of the 2024 NFL Draft.
cedric van plan
Center Cedric Van Plan was selected by the Buffalo Bills with the 141st pick in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Van Pran will join quarterback Josh Allen on an offensive line that features players like tackle Dion Dawkins and guard Osirus Torrence. He will be playing in an offense called by Joe Brady.
Juan Plan is one of the longest-tenured offensive linemen in Georgia history. He was the starting center for Georgia's national championships in 2021 and 2022. He also captained the team the past two years, including captaining the team in both the 2022 SEC Championship and playoff games.
He earned several honors during his time with the Bulldogs, including being named second-team All-SEC in his second year as a starter and first-team All-SEC last year. Van Plan was also a Rimington Trophy semifinalist and was a key member of Georgia's offensive line in all three consecutive semifinal appearances. He won the SEC's Jacobs Blocking Trophy last season.
Van Puran has started at center for three seasons with the Bulldogs and will likely slide right into the starting role. However, Van Puran may need to start at guard, but he doesn't have much experience and may need to develop there as a pro.
Although he had proven his ability as a strong pass blocker in college, he struggled at the point in the run game. He is good at lateral movement, but weak at vertical movement. Fun plans tended to overset and miss blocks. However, Van Puran is very technically sound, has experience and leadership ability, and would be a great addition to Buffalo's offensive line.
