Former UFC star Ronda Rousey recently spoke to the MMA media about her perception following the losing streak that ended her fighting career.
With her historic run, Rousey was a celebrity similar to Conor McGregor until Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes ended her late in her UFC career.She recently appeared on The Chris Cuomo Project and is promoting her new bookour struggle'' Rousey said of her experience in the mixed martial arts media following her downfall.
“Seeing everyone willingly antagonize me and people like Joe Rogan crying in the ring about the honor of having a match with me, thinking I was friends in the media. It was really disappointing to see how quickly people turned on me.'' Rousey said of the media's reaction to her loss in the UFC. Because it forced me to separate other people's perceptions of me from my own. …I don't like being famous for the paparazzi. I hate it.”
Rousey recently made headlines for her retrospective excuse for her fight with Holly Holm. In an April 2 interview with Valeria Lipovetsky, “Rowdy” explained the external factors that led to his loss against Holm:
