Wyoming High School Soccer Rankings Week 7 2024
Class 4A polling
The Camels went 2-0 last week, including a win over then-No. 3 Laramie. They are now tied for first place in the league and have received enough votes for Campbell County to take over the top spot. The Camels received seven of the 13 first-place votes. They held a three-point lead over Kelly Walsh, who slipped to second place after losing their first conference game to Riverton. Jackson dropped to third place, and Laramie dropped one spot to fourth place. The Wolverines' win over the Trojans garnered enough attention that Riverton moved into the top five for the first time this season in fifth place.
For 4A boys, Cheyenne Central and Kelly Walsh tied for first place. Both received 147 points in the vote. The Indians received seven first-place votes out of 12. The Trojans received four first-place votes, tied for seven second-place votes and one fifth-place vote. Jackson, Sheridan and Thunder Basin held on to third, fourth and fifth place, respectively.
Class 3A voting
The top three girls in 3A had the same result. Cody still came out on top with six of the nine first-place votes. Lander was voted second to Worland by just three points. Douglas moved up one place to fourth place. Powell returned to the rankings in fifth place.
Finally, the top four maintained their positions in the 3A boys voting. Torrington widened their lead in first place, giving the Blazers seven first-place votes. Worland remained in second place, just three points behind Green River. Cody held steady in fourth place, while Lander finished in fifth place, making it into the top five for the first time this year.
