Ryan Garcia's father Henry suspects Devin Haney broke his jaw last Saturday night in Brooklyn in a loss to Kingry.

Henry says Devin (31-1, 15 KOs) is still in New York. He is believed to be in a state hospital being treated for a jaw injury. Haney's jaw was severely swollen on the left side and blood was coming out of his mouth.
Henry feels Bill Haney should have stopped the fight in the seventh round to protect his son Devin, who was dropped and beaten by Ryan during the round. Haney lost to Ryan from rounds 8 to 12, and things got worse after the 7th round.
Henry Garcia: 'Haney's era is over'
“Haney's time is over. It's going to take a while for him to recover,” Henry Garcia told Mill City Boxing of Devin Garcia, who was knocked down last Saturday night against Ryan Garcia. He said Haney needed a break.
It could be a while before Haney returns, and it will be difficult for him to recover from this loss. His confidence has waned and top fighters at 140 will use Ryan's win as a blueprint.
They're going to do exactly what Ryan did, sit back and shoot, aiming for Haney's head and making sure Haney doesn't miss as he retreats. This fight could have a similar impact on Haney's career as Adrien Broner's loss to Marcos Maidana in 2013. After that loss, Broner was never the same.
Henry said of Haney, “Next year he'll have a fight, but he won't be facing anyone by knockout.” “He'll be fighting an opponent who only has a couple of knockouts. His chin is already questionable.”
If Haney returns, he may choose to defend against WBC mandatory Sander Martin (who is not a big puncher). His KO rate is 35%. As for the top 15 candidates, it's not that long.
“I think his jaw is broken, but they don't say anything. Why are they still in New York? Think about it,” Henry said of Haney.
“He's probably in the hospital somewhere. They're still in New York. What does that mean? I don't care. The guy's hurt,” Haney said on his birthday. Henry said when he was told that he was at the table with the cake.
Bill posted a video saying they were still in New York, but lacked details as to why. That was the weird part. He's usually more of a detail-oriented person, but not in this case.
bill haney under fire
“Psychologically speaking, you should read every page of the book he gave my son, because he's one of the worst men I've ever known,” Henry said. said of Devin's father, Bill Haney.
“He's evil, stupid, and stupid. I don't know why they hate him. Maybe it's because he's tall, handsome, and rich. That's not why he hates his son. It won't.
“He should have been worried about his son,” Henry said, referring to Bill Haney's need to worry about Devin. “All he cares about is money and being on camera behind the scenes. The man is evil.
“That's your responsibility as a father. Not as a trainer, but as a father,” Henry replied when asked if Bill should have thrown in the towel to protect his son Devin from a severe beating from Ryan.
“Round seven? That guy was out,” said Henry, who said Bill had to stop the fight in the seventh when Devin was seriously injured by Ryan's hard punches. “Ryan has now proven people wrong again, so he's become the 'face of boxing.'”
