Both major academic awards were presented to Diamond competitors who earned a 4.0 grade point average (GPA) for the semester. Swaroop Pujari (Baseball) earned the honor of Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Ennovi Sandoval (Softball) was named Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Cavaliers finish 5th in ACC Championship
Virginia, ranked No. 13 nationally, shot a 3-over-par 287 in the final round of stroke play at the ACC Championship Tournament on Sunday, placing fifth among 12 teams in Charlotte, North Carolina.
UVA finished 54 holes of stroke play with a 1-under 851.
