Coach Brent Venables and the OU football team concluded spring practice Saturday afternoon at Owen Field in Norman. This will be the Sooners' last game before joining the SEC on July 1st.

End of 3rd quarter: Red (offense) 56, White (defense) 48
The target score for the fourth quarter is 65. The first team to score 65 wins.
Defensive coordinator Zach Earley and co-offensive coordinator Joe John Finley participated in the punt-off, and whoever punted the farthest added three points to their team's total. Finley won, giving the red team a 56-48 lead.
Spoils General shows off his wheels
General Booty, one of OU's backup quarterbacks, flashed his speed to start the second half and scored a long touchdown on the ground.

The first half was the Deion Burks show.
The Sooners' offense started the game well, but the defense was tenacious, especially the defensive line, which got better as the second half progressed. Adepoju Adebawoa and R. Mason Thomas were active in the backfield. Adebawoa, a former five-star player coming out of high school, looked dominant and picked up a sack before halftime.
Burks caught five passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns in the first half. Ethan Downs led the defense with three tackles and one sack.

On Saturday, OU quarterback Jackson Arnold led the way with a 64-yard touchdown run by Deion Burks.
After the touchdown, Florida State transfer kicker Tyler Keltner practiced the PAT. OU's kicking struggles were well documented a season ago.
