Jacksonville, Florida – Amateur fighters from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Department and the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department will square off for charity at the 25th annual Jack’s Guns and Hoes Boxing Event.

Thirteen fighters from each side will participate. The match will take place in three rounds of one minute duration.
Even if fists are raised, organizers said it's for a good cause because it helps the community.
“We raise a lot of money for charity; we do this for charity. We raise a significant amount of money,” said JSO board member Trevor Hall. Told.
The JFRD lieutenant said it was great to be able to help the family.
“It means the world. “We're all in this work to help, and it's great to have the opportunity to get in the ring and fight other brothers and sisters and raise money for that. ” said JFRD Lieutenant General Brady Acosta.
Organizers hope to raise more money than last year. Hall said they raised about $50,000 in 2023.
Funds raised will be donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, supported by JFRD, and the Jacksonville Fraternal Order of Police Foundation, supported by police officers.
Both sides are aiming for victory.
