“At Gold Country Soccer, we provide opportunities for children to not only develop their soccer skills, but also their social and leadership skills, making soccer a sport that they can grow with and continue playing into adulthood. We strive to provide programs that children can understand,” said Monique Delenier, Executive Director of GCSL.
For example, players can enroll in a referee training program and become match officials from the age of 13.
“Not only do they develop a deeper understanding of the game, but they also develop important skills such as decision-making, conflict resolution, and accountability. These experiences not only strengthen their resumes but also develop a sense of responsibility that will help them in their future endeavors.” It gives me confidence,” Delenya said.
