Pierce Brosnan (The Last Rifleman) will co-star with Amir El-Masri (Limbo) in Giant, a biopic about boxer Prince Naseem 'Naz' Hamed.
Pierce Brosnan and Amir El Masri depict the lives of British-Yemeni boxer Prince Naseem 'Naz' Hamed (El Masri) and his Irish-born boxing trainer Brendan Ingle (Brosnan). He has signed a contract to star in AGC Studio's sports drama “Giant''. ). It was originally planned to shoot interiors in Malta, but production was moved back to the UK to take advantage of the new independent film tax credit. Giant will begin filming in Leeds in late April.

Pierce Brosnan was nominated for this year's IFTA Best Actor in a Motion Picture Award for his performance in the film the last rifleman.
