2024 Olympic Games Watch Party
To give you a better idea of how great the men's freestyle tournament can be, we've tallied up all of the NCAA competitors and All-America honors earned by all of the competitors.
By our count, there are 241 NCAA qualifications, 175 NCAA medals and 67 NCAA titles in parentheses this weekend.
pretty good!
Especially considering how that number will grow as the years go by, as many of the trial participants still have years of NCAA eligibility left.
Note: Not everyone who qualifies for the men's freestyle competition will be able to participate in the trials. We have tried to be consistent by removing some of the wrestlers we believe will not compete and only listing programs for which the wrestler has competed in the postseason. We've also done our best to accurately tally your praise, but please let us know if we need to make any corrections.
