On the final day of the NBA season, the Oklahoma City Thunder clinched the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.
Oklahoma City defeated the reigning NBA champion Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves to earn home court advantage through the West Division playoffs.
Sunday's results also confirmed three playoff games in each conference, as well as four play-in games to be played on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Phoenix Suns got the most important result of all, avoiding the play-in round on Sunday.
With Phoenix's win over Minnesota and the New Orleans Pelicans' loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and others became the sixth seed in the West.
Following the Lakers' win in New Orleans, the Pelicans and Lakers will play again on Tuesday.
There were no changes at East Play-in-Place on Sunday. The Indiana Pacers remained in the top six, but the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat narrowly missed out and advanced to the play-in round.

Indiana and Orlando State won Sunday, avoiding the play-in round.
The Pacers scored 157 points in a blowout win over the Atlanta Hawks, and the Magic defeated the Giannis Antetokounmpo-less Milwaukee Bucks.
With these two wins, the Sixers maintained their seventh place in the standings. As a result, Joel Embiid and his team will take a shot at Wednesday's home game against Jimmy Butler's Miami Heat and face the New York Knicks.
Milwaukee's home loss vaulted New York into the No. 2 seed. The Knicks and Bucks are the top two seeds in the bracket. Milwaukee will play Indiana in the first round.
The Boston Celtics will be the last East team to know their first-round opponent. They will face the winner of Friday's play-in finale.
The loser of Philadelphia vs. Miami will play the winner of Chicago vs. Atlanta on Friday. The Bulls will host the No. 9 vs. No. 9 game. They play the Hawks in 10 games on Wednesday.

Oklahoma City made the biggest change at the top of the standings Sunday.
The Thunder have home court advantage throughout the West playoffs, but could face a dangerous No. 8 seed.
The Lakers, Kings, and Warriors sit 8th to 10th in the West, and all three teams have a chance to advance to the 8th seed.
New Orleans hopes it doesn't have to worry about the No. 8 seed on Friday. The Pelicans have a second shot at home against the Lakers in the play-in round on Tuesday.
The Pelicans are in this position because they lost the head-to-head tiebreaker to the Suns.
Phoenix is probably the biggest winner of Sunday's game, as it avoided the play-in round and set up a first-round matchup against a Minnesota team it just beat Sunday.
The Suns beat the Timberwolves twice in April and three times this season. As such, they will likely be the top lower seed chosen to advance from the opening round.
