In the first round, Gomez got off to a fast start until the halfway point when Baker took over. The action continued in the second round with both turns scoring well.

Thirty minutes into the sixth inning, after a good combination, Gomez suddenly landed four right uppercuts on Baker's chin, causing Baker to fall and being shaken off by referee Lyson.
