Yellow Jackets fans, that day is almost here.
Georgia Tech's annual Platinum Spring Game will be held tomorrow at 1 p.m. and will be your first chance to see the 2024 Yellow Jackets.
This will be one of Georgia Tech's most anticipated spring games in a while. Last year, Brent Key led Georgia Tech to its first bowl win since 2016 and has most of the pieces back in one of the ACC's best offenses. Quarterback Haynes King returns, along with running back Jamal Haynes, wide receiver Eric Singleton and four starters on the offensive line.
This is also the first opportunity to see the new defensive coaching staff. With one of the worst defenses in the country, Key revamped his defensive staff, bringing in Tyler Santucci (defensive coordinator) and Jess Simpson (defensive line) from Duke, and Corey Peoples (defensive back) and Kyle Peeples from Georgia State. Pope was invited. Edge/Outside Linebacker) From Memphis.
