Sunday's game between the Las Vegas Golden Knights and Colorado Avalanche will feature a real-time animated broadcast using proprietary technology called “Multiversus NHL Faceoff,” which will be broadcast exclusively on truTV and Max starting at 12:30 p.m. PT.

The game's animated presentation uses the NHL's innovative NHL EDGE tracking technology to recreate the on-ice action in real-time. Some Golden Knights players appear as themselves, sometimes skating alongside characters such as Batman and Bugs Bunny.
The alternate telecast link will be dynamic and incorporate rotating elements based on environments from Multiversus games, including Space Jam Court, Adventure Time Tree Fort, Sky Arena, and Trophy's Edge.
