The Ministry of Education has released a notification regarding the UNESCO International Center for Martial Arts (ICM) Martial Arts Education Awards. Nominations are being sought for his 2024 UNESCO ICM for Youth Development and Engagement.
Individuals, groups and organizations that have contributed to social development, including the empowerment of youth and women, can apply for the award online at www.icmprize.org. Nominations for 2024 can be submitted to UNESCO from 20 March to 20 May. Winners will be awarded more than 10,000 USD.
The International Budo Center is running the UNESCO ICM Budo Education Awards from 2021, with the aim of collecting and supporting good practice in martial arts education from around the world.
An official notification from the Ministry of Education states, “UNESCO invites candidates for the 2024 UNESCO International Center for Martial Arts (ICM) for Youth Development and Engagement. Applications should be submitted to the Indian National Cooperation Committee for UNESCO (INCCU) should be forwarded to.” at the latest by April 30, 2024. ” The nomination will then be sent to UNESCO.

Individuals, groups or organizations that contribute to any of the following are eligible to receive a prize:
-We help young people overcome disadvantaged situations through martial arts education.
-Improve women's rights and strengthen women's social participation through martial arts education for women.
-Creating a safe environment in local communities through martial arts education activities.
・Contribute to helping socially vulnerable people overcome hardship and become independent through martial arts education.
