Mario Barrios VS. Fabian Maidana
In the 12-round co-main event, Mario “El Azteca” Barrios Successfully makes first defense of interim WBC welterweight title against Argentina Fabian “TNT” Maidanathe younger brother of legendary action fighter Marcos, is looking to add to his family's legacy with a chance to win his first world title.
Barrios (28-2, 18 KOs), a former world champion at 140 pounds, secured a career-best win in his last fight and solidified his place in the top 147-pound division by dropping Yordenis Ugas twice last September. I made it into something. Unanimous decision. The 28-year-old hails from San Antonio, Texas, and currently trains in Las Vegas under the tutelage of top trainer Bob Santos. He won the 140-pound world championship in September 2019 by unanimous decision, defeating Batier Akhmedov in an aggressive style. Barrios lost his super lightweight title to three-division, five-time world champion Gervonta Davis in June 2021 in another action-packed and competitive bout.

The 31-year-old Maidana (22-2, 16 KOs) comes into this fight on a four-fight winning streak, including three in 2023, highlighted by a unanimous decision victory over Israel Lopez in November. Maidana, a native of Margarita, Santa Fe, Argentina, hopes to follow in the footsteps of his older brother, former two-division champion Marcos. He has been fighting professionally since 2014 and continues his strong amateur career with 16 wins in his first professional bouts. He will be returning to action in the United States for the first time since 2019, after spending much of his early career fighting in the United States, including knocking out former title challenger Andrei Klimov in 2018.

Brandon Figueroa VS. Jesse Magdaleno
Pay-per-view lineup also includes return of former world champion Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa as he defends his interim WBC featherweight title in a 12-round bout against the former 122-pound world champion. jesse magdaleno.
The 27-year-old Figueroa (24-1-1, 18 KOs) most recently defeated former world champion Mark Magsayo in a March 2023 Fight of the Year candidate by unanimous decision, and in his final bout. won the interim title. The bout was his second since his 2021 Fight of the Year against Stephen Fulton Jr., but some observers believe it was controversial as Figueroa lost by majority decision. Ta. Magdaleno (29-2, 18 KOs), of Las Vegas, will be looking to bounce back from a decision loss in his last bout to current featherweight titlist Raymond Ford. Prior to the loss, Magdaleno was on a four-fight win streak since moving up to featherweight in 2019. Magdaleno, 32, became world champion in 2016 with a dominant unanimous decision victory over future Hall of Famer Nonito Donaire, and successfully defended his title. He won the title in 2017 by knocking out Adilson dos Santos. Magdaleno also comes from a boxing family, with his older brother Diego a longtime challenger and his younger brother Marco also fighting professionally.

Eimantas Staninis VS. Gabriel Maestre
Undefeated up-and-coming technician Eimantas Stanionis He will make his first defense of the WBA welterweight title against an unbeaten opponent. Gabriel Maestre in a 12-round showdown to open the pay-per-view card.
Representing Kaunas, Lithuania, Stanionis (14-0, 9 KOs) made the most of the promise he showed when he turned pro after competing for his country at the 2016 Olympics. The 29-year-old won the interim belt in his most recent bout, defeating previously undefeated Radjab Butaev in a hard-fought decision in April 2022. Stanionis has won against a number of veteran welterweights, including by knockout. 12 round unanimous decision against Justin DeLoach and Thomas Delhomme.
“I'm so excited to be back in the ring. I feel like a kid in a candy store getting to choose my favorite candy,” Stanionis said. “This is especially exciting because I’m a huge Canelo Alvarez fan. I love watching his fights and as a kid I dreamed of fighting in front of the amazing Mexican fans on Cinco de Mayo. It made me want to give them a great fight even more. I know Gabriel Maestre is tough and has power. We fought as amateurs, but I think it's a great matchup of styles. I know. I'm going to take action and so will he. You can expect fireworks on May 4th.”
Maestre (6-0-1, 5 KOs), a two-time Olympian for his native Venezuela, put on a dominant performance last August, defeating then-unbeaten rising star Travon Marshall in the second round. His professional career followed extensive amateur action, including victories over Brian Castano, Carlos Adames, Alexander Besputin, Oscar Molina, and Brian Ceballo. He made his U.S. debut with a controversial decision victory over Mykal Fox in August 2021, drew against fellow undefeated Taras Shelestyuk in March 2022, and won a draw against former two-division champion Taras Shelestyuk in April 2023. defeated Devon Alexander.
“I've wanted to fight Stanionis for years and get revenge on my amateur fight,” Maestre said. “It was a tough close fight, but I'm ready to face him again.
