Ryan Garcia is amused by Devin Haney's predictions ahead of their April 20th fight. Kingley views Haney's knockout predictions as pure delusion.
Garcia, 25, will enter the fight as the underdog against Haney, a two-division world champion, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Kingly doesn't think the pillow-fisted Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) is completely off the ground with his outlandish KO predictions. And we can't wait to bring him back to the real world with a headliner. DAZN PPV.
Ryan (24-1, 20 KOs) has a lot of doubters he wants to prove wrong. Many of them predict that Haney, the WBC light welterweight champion, will outclass him and potentially score a knockout victory.
“A man's delusion”
“He's ready to go to work on April 20th. We'll take care of the paperwork. He can believe whatever he wants to believe,” Ryan Garcia told ABN Sports Media. I talked about how I believe I can knock him out on April 20th.
Haney's father, Bill, is acclimating to the 140-pound weight class in his second fight in the division, so his son's power has improved heading into this camp. Ryan assumes Bill is talking utter nonsense and hopes Devin can find some strength in time for the April 20th match.
Haney didn't look all that strong when he hit the bag in media workouts. It was the same weak shot that fans are used to seeing from him.
Garcia silenced the entire stadium with doubters.
“The chances of that are very slim. I feel like everyone has a chance to knock someone out. That's a crazy thing he said. He doesn't care how he feels. I'm af** *I will prove everyone wrong when Devin Haney beats me.
After Ryan crushes Haney right in front of Haney's fans, leaving him with a pile of rubble on the canvas, he can't wait to give the fans a little pie.
“Everyone who thinks Devin Haney is going to beat me is crazy, but it doesn't matter. I feel great. I feel good and I'm happy. My energy levels are great. You're my best. You will see that part.
“Drop the Haney and the afterparty begins.”
“I'm going to go in there and take care of business and destroy this guy and then start drinking and have a good time. I'm going to blow some smoke and then whatever I want to do after that, I'm going to go watch. I'm going to light it all up.” Brooklyn is going to smell like weed. Count the days, brother,” Ryan said when asked for his message to Haney.
Once Ryan defeats Haney, he plans to take off to a celebration of the era with only the best smokes and the best drinks.
