At Westmont Professional Swimming Olympic Champions Chase Kalish He won the 400 IM with a time of 4:13.52 and tied for first in the 200 IM with a time of 1:57.76. Chase also won a silver medal on the season in the 200 fly with a very respectable 1:56.67.

In this interview, Chase shares more about coaching the ASU team, specifically ASU Pro Drew Kibler, flashed lightning in the 200 free in 1:46.02 at Westmont. Drew stopped by this interview to make his side known, but Chase has been encouraging Kibler to get out of his comfort zone early, to say the least, and it's clearly working.

Looking ahead to the U.S. Olympic Trials, Chase will make his third Olympic team in the 400IM. We see Chase running a pace of 4:07.47 (bronze medal, behind Leon Marchand and Carson Foster) at the 2022 World Championships. Despite being a veteran, Chase touched the wall in 4:07.5 at Indy. My calculus? Chase is healthy. Sure, Chase won the Olympic gold medal in 2021 with a time of 4:09, but he was dealing with his shoulder injury and was really coming back from that injury. No more. Chase, under Coach Bowman, is laying the groundwork for an exciting opening night for the U.S. Olympic Trials.
