Liam Harrison’s return and Kade Ruotolo’s MMA debut added to ONE 167 in June

ONE 167: Stamp vs. Zamboanga on Prime Video is shaping up to be another must-see event on ONE Championship with the recent addition of two more great matches.

Liam Harrison's return

Harrison is scheduled to take on rising Japanese star Katsuki in the bantamweight Muay Thai bout, while Ruotolo will take on fellow American Blake Cooper in the lightweight MMA bout. “Hitman'' has been on hold since August 2022, when he suffered a serious knee injury while challenging then-ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Hama on ONE Prime Video 1.

After experiencing multiple setbacks on his road to recovery, Harrison worked his way back to full fitness and is now ready to bring his exciting brand of Muay Thai back to the world's largest martial arts organization. The person standing in his way is Kitano, who has won seven consecutive games in his professional career.

The 27-year-old's most recent victory came in his ONE Championship debut at ONE Friday Fights 38 last October. That night, he defeated Turkish striker Halil Kutcucu by unanimous decision. Kitano will undoubtedly make it his life's mission to spoil his legendary opponent's comeback and achieve his eight-fight winning streak.

Meanwhile, Ruotolo will finally step out of his comfort zone and compete in his first mixed martial arts bout at this epic event. Cade is the current ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Champion and has been training and competing in Jiu-Jitsu since he could walk alongside his twin brother Ty.

Ruotolo's debut work

The American grappling phenom has been cross-training for years in preparation for his inevitable transition to MMA, and he's now ready to make that transition. His first test will be Cooper, a second-generation fighter who had a career in amateur MMA before turning pro.

Throughout his MMA journey, “The Lion of Judah” has shown the ability to finish opponents on the ground and on his feet, and those skills could cause problems for Ruotolo. The highlight of ONE 167 will be the first defense of the ONE Women's Atomweight MMA World Title against Stamp Fairtex's friend and former training partner Dennis Zamboanga.

In the co-main event, Tawanchai PK Saenchai will take on the dangerous “Smokin'” Joe Nattawut for the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title. The event will be broadcast live for free on Prime Video to fans across North America with an Amazon subscription.
