Kate Abdo could make her boxing debut after training with boyfriend Malik Scott.
Abdo, 42, continues a healthy training regimen with Scott, a former heavyweight boxer, in Los Angeles. And the Misfits, who have carved out a niche for celebrity crossover matches, are ready to offer the presenter a path into the ring.
The promotion's co-founder, Mams Taylor, was asked in a recent Twitter space if Abdo could appear in the Misfits route in the future, to which she replied, “Yes.”

Taylor teased Abdo about joining the Misfits after the Scot made a dirty joke and challenged Jamie Carragher to a match while covering the Champions League.
The presenting quartet – Abdo, Carragher, Micah Richards and Thierry Henry – circled around the Arsenal jersey that Carragher, then Liverpool hero, was carrying on his shoulders.

The former Reds defender said: 'You [Henry] You can wear it in the next part or in the last part [Abdo] But when Abdo refused to wear the shirt, citing loyalty, Carragher sarcastically retorted: “To whom?”
After Abdo confirmed Manchester United, Carragher pounced: “It has nothing to do with Malik!” The panel was left in stunned silence at the mention of her fiancé, Henry glanced at Carragher, and Richards looked like he wanted to be swallowed by the ground.
Scott was not happy that Carragher's comments about Abdo went viral and told Lord Ping:
“It was never a big deal to me that he's the kind of guy who always teases you just for saying that. It's only a big deal if Kate gets upset. If Kate gets upset, That’s a really big deal” myself.
“If I call him and he doesn't answer the phone, that's not something you should continue to do because I physically show up so I can talk as a man.
“I think Jamie has apologized, not just to Kate, but to the team. One of the things you don't do is knock out a guy who admits he was wrong. I have a lot of respect for him for that.”
