Although the Blue Jays weren't shutout on the scoreboard, the team is still looking for the win column after the first three games of the season.
Perry opened 2024 with a tournament at Mediacom Stadium, losing to Des Moines Hoover and Des Moines North, 4-1 and 6-1, respectively. Sergio Sanchez and Jonathan Banuelos were selected to serve on the Jays' board of directors.
The next teammate to take a shot was Jonathan Barrios-Muñoz, who played in Monday's home opener against ADM. However, the score was tied at 1-1 at the end of regulation, with the Tigers breaking through with a 2-1 lead and the Blue Jays reeling from their third loss.
Perry will remain at home Thursday to face North Polk, a team Perry beat 4-0 last year.
