Beau Nickal continues to target Olympic gold medalist Jordan Burroughs.
It was during the recent NCAA Wrestling Championships that Knickal and Burrows got into a heated argument.
Burrows was commentating on the ESPN broadcast, where Penn State's Carter Starocci won his fourth title despite suffering a serious knee injury with a 2-0 victory. During the match, Burrows told commentator Daniel Cormier that Starocci's opponent should aim for Starocci's injured leg.
The Olympic wrestling trials are coming up in April, and Burrows will compete in the same weight class as Starocci.
Burroughs doubled down on targeting Starocci's legs, saying:
“He said April 19th and 20th. I know the guy (Starozzi) who's going to be there. I'd love to meet him. I'll tell you, if he and I are in the bracket If I meet you inside, I'll aim for your right leg.”
Bo Nickal, who won three NCAA titles at Penn State, called Burrows' commentary during the event “really classy” and “unprofessional.”
Mr Burrows hit back at Mr Nickal on social media:
“You punch people in the face for a living. Shut up.”
To which Bo Nickal responded on the podcast:
“It's not his (Burrows') moment. So why make a player's fourth national title, and one of the biggest moments of his career, about himself? To me, that just shows his character.”
Continuing, the 28-year-old said:
“What bothers me is that no one is watching this. He's always trying to act like an ambassador for this sport and saying, 'Oh, Penn State, congratulations. I'm so proud of you guys and what you're doing.'' Brother, you're one hell of a fraud. You just want to make it about yourself. ”
Finally, Nickal had this to say about how he would deal with Burroughs the next time he met him:
“Don't attack us or try to be friendly when you see me. I guarantee you, he'll look at me and be calm and say, 'What's up, Bo? Just do it.'” Because they will try. Like, no, we're not cool. I'm not really interested in being cool with you. ”
Undefeated Bo Niccal (5-0 MMA) takes on Cody Brundage (10-5 MMA) in a historic UFC 300 middleweight bout on Saturday, April 13th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. ) to play against. , Nevada.
