The Miami Dolphins and Pepsi welcomed more than 35 local community partners to the 4th Annual Football UNITES™ Opening Kick to discuss the program's overall community impact to date and launch the program for the 2024 season. did.
The Miami Dolphins Football UNITES™ program harnesses the power of sports to connect the intersections of communities to create a more inclusive South Florida. The program focuses on improving relationships, promoting understanding, and cultural experiences throughout the year by working with partners and allies in more than 50 communities throughout South Florida.
Last Tuesday, March 26th, at Opening Kick Presented by Pepsi, more than 35 attendees from community organizations from across South Florida participated in presentations and breakout sessions to discuss the progress of Football UNITES™ and the 2024 We look forward to the program for the 2019 season. During this event, the Dolphins recognized selected community partners for their outstanding work within the South Florida community. Be Strong International received the Pepsi Unity Award for its work in creating Social Yaks, a conversation-starting card game that builds connections and fosters understanding for students and adults alike.
Participants also had the opportunity to network and enjoy lunch at the Baptist Health Training Complex.
