When you think of consistency and dominance, the name Zamiyah Hill comes to mind. In three seasons leading the Mosley women's soccer team, Hill has scored a total of 100 goals, including 39 goals in 15 games last season.
For all her efforts, Hill was named Bay County Girls Soccer Player of the Year, as voted on by coaches throughout the county.
“This shows the hard work I've put in over the years,” Hill said. “I've been waiting for this moment. I'm so happy to have the opportunity to represent my school and the school I'm going to attend.”
The senior said intricate details that not everyone sees are the first key to her formula for success.

“Ever since I was young, I wanted to be a goalscorer and be the best,” Hill said. “We filmed outdoors in the dark in our backyard during off-hours when no one was looking, learning from our mistakes from previous seasons and improving.”
Hill signed to continue his football career at the University of Florida and said he is looking forward to accepting the challenge.
“You hear a lot about how much of a challenge it is if you really want to play at the next level, but I love good competition,” Hill said. “Hopefully I can show them that I can be their next Abby Wambach, and I believe I can be that too.”
Women's Soccer Coach of the Year: Logan Graham
In 2020, North Bay Haven named Logan Graham its coach. Four years later, Graham was on a roll, winning his second district championship with his 2-1 win over Pensacola Catholic.
For her efforts, Graham was named Bay County Girls Soccer Coach of the Year by her peers.
“We wouldn't be in the position we're in if it weren't for the players we have. They worked hard all season,” Graham said. “This season was one of the best I could ask for as a coach.”
North Bay Haven averaged 4.7 goals per game, with midfielder Emma Smith contributing 37 goals and 20 assists. The defense allowed an average of just 1.4 goals per game.
“We started the season with a 4-2-3-1 formation that relied heavily on defense, but we didn't score many goals early on and realized we needed to make a change,” Graham said. “My assistant coach and I decided to change to a traditional 4-4-2 and move one of our centre-backs, Addisyn Bottorff, next to Emma. It was a perfect fit.”
