Valor Christian High School's varsity hockey team won this year's USA Hockey High School Tier 1 National Championship.
WEST CHESTER, Pa. — Just two weeks after a disappointing loss to Regis Jesuit in the Class 5A Hockey State Championship Game, Valor Christian's “Screaming Eagles” Tier 1 team will advance to the USA Hockey High School Tier 1 National Championship. I have reset my sights on participating in the. .
This year's national championships will be held in West Chester, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia.
The Screaming Eagles' Tier 1 roster was identical to the varsity team roster for the CHSAA season. The only difference is slightly different team names, which is a CHSAA requirement.
During the Valor's six national tournament games, sophomore Maddux Charles led the team with 11 points on three goals and eight assists.
He was followed by his younger brother Carter Charles, who had six goals and three assists for nine points.
