From Central Florida Soccer Club
Apopka's own soccer club, Central Florida Soccer Club (CFSC), recently embarked on an extraordinary soccer trip to Manchester and Liverpool, England. What is the main purpose? Creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences where beautiful games connect players across continents and cultures. With a group of 40 travelers, 16 athletes and his 24 enthusiastic parents and siblings, CFSC set out on a journey that exceeded all expectations. From March 13, 2024 to his 21st, CFSC's young athletes and their families were immersed in a whirlwind of soccer and cultural experiences.
Friendly match across the pond
The trip began with three exhilarating friendlies against notable academies: Airbus Academy, Mossley Hill Academy and Transmere Rovers Academy. These games weren't just about goals and wins. They aimed to build connections and embrace the spirit of the game. Continuing the tradition of pennant exchange, CFSC players passed on their club flags as a symbol of friendship, goodwill and sportsmanship.

Soccer fever reached its peak with an unforgettable stadium experience. CFSC witnessed first-hand the intensity of his FA Cup quarter-finals.

Amid the football frenzy, CFSC also went on sightseeing trips to Conwy, Chester, Liverpool and Manchester, immersing themselves in British culture and charm.
Each player returned with cherished memories, but a few moments stood out.

- Manchester City's stunning 2-0 victory over Newcastle, watched live by CFSC, added to the excitement of top-flight football.
- CFSC's own victory, a memorable 2-1 victory over Mossley Hill Academy, was followed by heartwarming scenes of local schoolmates celebrating on the pitch, demonstrating the camaraderie that football can foster.
