MIDLAND – Alicia Salinas got an assist from Harry Wagoner eight minutes into the game Thursday, setting the tone for a 5-0 win between Wichita Falls High School and El Paso Bowie in a Region I-4A area round game.
The Lady Coyotes head to the Region I-4A quarterfinals to take on Canyon Randall at Happy State Bank Stadium in Amarillo on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
Old High dominated the game, outscoring Bowie 23-3, including a 17-3 advantage in shots on goal.
Salinas scored two goals, and Jayden Johnson, Wagoner and Luciana Borrego each added one goal. Salinas, Maggie Ketner and Wagoner had assists.
Aidan Herrera stopped three shots in front of the goal for a shutout victory.
