The USFL and XFL have decided to merge to form the United Football League (UFL), which aims to be the premier spring professional football league. The UFL season opens this weekend on March 30th, with the Birmingham Stallions taking on the Arlington Renegades at noon (Central time) on FOX.
More than 40 former FCS players will be on the UFL roster this season. Notable roster additions include former Incarnate Word quarterback Lindsey Scott Jr. and North Dakota State wide receiver Darius Shepherd.
Below is a complete list of all FCS players on the active roster entering Week 1 of the UFL's inaugural season.
Arlington Renegades
In the second quarter, Central Arkansas receiver Rujuan Winningham (5) made a catch while ACU's Shelby Washington was defending. The Bears defeated ACU 42-21 in the WAC/ASUN Challenge Game on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Wildcat Stadium.
