Mike Tyson didn't hesitate when asked to name his dream opponent of all time, mentioning boxing legends by name.
During his legendary professional career, Tyson fought against all odds and against some of the biggest names of his generation.
He had back-to-back fights with Evander Holyfield and had memorable showdowns with Larry Holmes, Michael Spinks, and Lennox Lewis.
The 57-year-old, who fought fellow boxing icon Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition in November 2020, will return to the ring on July 20th against Jake Paul.
During an interview with Steve Farhood on ShoBox, “Iron” Mike was asked to name his dream partner of all times and immediately chose Floyd Mayweather.
Before the former world heavyweight champion delved into why a match with Mayweather was interesting, Farhood said with a laugh that he “loved” the answer.
“Well, I wanted to fight him. I wish he was my weight,” he explained. “Of course we can never fight because of the weight difference, but I won't fight him like they fought him.”

Mayweather left the sport undefeated with an impressive professional record of 50-0.
But Tyson believes he would have known exactly how to deal with Mayweather. He added: “I would be mean and I would be dirty because he's really good and I'd have to do everything to fight him.”
“It’s impossible… It’s almost impossible to fight him completely. It’s really difficult to defeat him.
“I don't care. It's really hard to beat him. It's really hard to beat him with the style that he deploys, that particular style.
“I don't care. Love him or hate him, he's a tough guy to beat. If a guy like Floyd was a heavyweight, he would fight differently.”
