CJ Gamble is a hot name at the linebacker position right now, but that might not be the case for much longer.
Gamble is a big-bodied linebacker who plays the game with power but is as agile as a yogi. Like the typical new-era linebacker, he is extremely versatile. Last season in Carrollton, he primarily lined up at the Dawgbacker position, but also took snaps on the edge.
It's no wonder Georgia Tech defensive coordinator Tyler Santucci is interested in him.
Gamble shared his thoughts on whether he could fit into coach Santucci's defense.
“Yes, I definitely think I would be a good fit in Santucci's defense. Everything their linebackers are doing is similar to what we do in Carrollton,” he said. Ta.
Impressions from the spring practice visit
On Thursday afternoon, Georgia Tech opened spring practice to freshmen who came to see what was going on at the apartment, and Gamble said it was an overall great experience.
“It was a great experience all around. Everyone had energy from meetings to practices. The coaches and staff were really engaged and welcoming. I hope to come back someday,” he said. Told.
He also gave his opinion on how the coaches ran practice.
“The coaches at GT have years of experience. By the way, they're coaching, but you can tell they know what it takes to get to the next level and be successful.”
