2025 tight end Connor Rausch received an offer from Georgia Tech on June 1 after a strong showing at prospect camp. The Yellow Jackets first showed interest after the coaching staff visited Wesleyan University in the early spring. From there, Rausch was invited to Georgia Tech's prospect camp to showcase his skills.
He just committed to the Yellow Jackets, joining Jamauri Brice and Phoenix Felton as commitss to Georgia Tech's Class of 2025.

He is rated as a three-star prospect according to Rivals and currently holds five offers from Air Force, Georgia Tech, Penn State, Yale, Wofford College and Army. May was a busy month for Rausch, who received six offers. Now, the focus is on seeing if he will be selected by the Yellow Jackets.
He was on campus for the White and Gold Spring Game in April and took an official visit with the Yellow Jackets last weekend.
One thing to note about Connor is that he took first place in the region in the shot put at Wesleyan High School with a 46-9 record.
He played defensive end last season at Wesleyan University. Rausch is great at setting the edge in the running game and doesn't let playmakers get away. He has good angles and rarely misses tackles. He's disruptive and creates havoc and causes turnovers for his team. Even when he can't get close to the quarterback, he has great awareness to get his hands up and deflect the ball.
He was named to the region's first team on defense by Georgia High School Football Daily. In 2023, he finished the season with 46 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, eight sacks, and two forced fumbles. On offense, he had six catches for 56 yards and a touchdown.
It will be interesting to see how he plays at the next level. Rausch is a natural fit on the defensive line and could be a high-end starter. He has great athleticism and instincts that could make a difference, but he is being recruited as a tight end.
