CHICAGO (May 9, 2024) – U.S. Soccer today announced complete match details for the Round of 16 of the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The matchup is scheduled to feature five contests on Tuesday, May 21st, and conclude with three tilts on Wednesday, May 22nd. The ledger is highlighted by six contests. A team from Major League Soccer (Division I) will face off against an enemy team from his USL Championship (Division II), with two matchups that will ensure multiple teams from lower divisions advance to the quarterfinals. .

Now in its 109th year, the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup – the U.S. Soccer National Championship – has crowned a champion every year since 1914 except for 2020 and 2021.
